BarantaAre a group of diverse musicians who have teamed up to produce an exciting new percussive sound.
BarantaCame together in late 1999 when Sierra Leonean Francis Fuster, world renowned percussionist, and Kenyan Sultan Makendé, well known producer and bassist, decided to put an Afro - Latin fusion band together.
BarantaHave a unique sound in that they fuse traditional African drumming and chants, with Latin rhythms and Jazz improvisation.
BarantaConsist of 4 master percussionists, bass, guitar, keyboards, horns and vocals.
BarantaAre now busy promoting their first album
